Manish Lohia’s journey into the modeling industry began with a strong desire for self-improvement and passion. In a recent interview with Anurag Kapoor, Founder of Luxurious Dreams Magazine, Manish Lohia shared the story of his early experiences and growth in this competitive field. His first encounter with modeling was in a beauty pageant in August 2017. While the event offered limited grooming, it introduced him to the tough and often unforgiving nature of the industry. This experience, however, also taught him valuable lessons about competition and resilience.
Later, Manish Lohia participated in the Star Life Mr & Miss India 2018, where the grooming sessions were extensive and beneficial. Despite these efforts, he encountered the harsh reality of the industry—connections and nepotism often seemed more important than talent. He reached the top 10 out of over 180 contestants but was disillusioned by the favoritism that he witnessed.
Refusing to let this discourage him, Manish chose to continue his pursuit of success. He began participating in runway shows in Delhi, slowly building his reputation and honing his craft. Over time, his persistence paid off, and he eventually won several pageants. His experience and success opened doors for him to work as a choreographer and groomer, particularly at Chandigarh University, Kalinga University and manymore.
In 2023, Manish Lohia won the title of Love & War Season 2, a show that was telecasted on 9XM. His passion extended beyond modeling. He ventured into production, creating opportunities for aspiring models through runway shows, web series, and commercials. He also founded his own production house, where he provides a platform for new talents to grow.
His advice to upcoming models is straightforward: seek genuine mentors, avoid falling for false promises, and focus on long-term development. Manish believes that with patience, hard work, and the right guidance, true success is achievable in the modeling industry.
