Bangalore, July 28, 2025 – This August, Shades of Green brings to Bangalore a unique exhibition titled Songs of Nature, a one-of-a-kind celebration of sustainable creativity by Oorjaa—a conscious design studio that transforms natural waste into artful lighting.
From 8th to 13th August, between 11:00 AM and 7:00 PM, the event will be held at Sabha, a restored 160-year-old colonial-era school on Kamaraj Road. This soulful venue sets the stage for a deeply immersive experience that blends craft, ecology, and innovation.
Oorjaa’s collection features lighting pieces made from eco-conscious materials such as banana fibre, cork, lantana, and granite dust — each a tribute to the studio’s philosophy of circular design and mindful making. Alongside their signature works, the exhibit introduces a fresh collection inspired by the subtle wisdom of the natural world.
More than just an exhibition, Songs of Nature serves as a collaborative space for dialogue and reflection. Throughout the week, the event will host talks, panels, and workshops featuring artists, designers, and environmental thought leaders. These sessions aim to open conversations around the intersection of sustainability, design, and responsibility.
