Cine Shala International Film Festival 2026

A Memorable Two-Day Film Celebration

The Cine Shala International Film Festival 2026 came to a successful close on April 19, 2026. Organized by Arunuj Films, Delhi, this two-day event brought together budding filmmakers and cinema enthusiasts for an engaging and enriching experience. Selected films were showcased, giving participants a chance to present their creative efforts on a recognized platform.

The event took place at Surya Sadhana Sthali, Jhijholi, Haryana, offering a peaceful and inspiring setting for artistic exchange and collaboration.

More Than Just Film Screenings

This festival went beyond traditional screenings, creating an interactive environment where filmmakers could share their journeys and discuss the challenges faced during film production. It served as a learning hub where participants exchanged ideas and gained practical insights into filmmaking.

Director Anuj Kumar Roy conducted several sessions, reviewing selected films and offering constructive feedback on both strengths and areas needing improvement. Discussions also focused on how to create impactful short fiction and documentary films.

Focus on Student Filmmakers

The festival was specially designed for students, with entries received from 19 colleges. Selected participants were provided accommodation, ensuring a comfortable and collaborative atmosphere.

Festival Director Princy Rani emphasized that the main goal was to give young filmmakers a platform where they could not only showcase their work but also understand the business side of cinema, including distribution and funding.
