Bengaluru, December 4, 2024: The 16th edition of HGH India, the leading trade show for home textiles, décor, furniture, housewares, and gifts, was inaugurated today in Bengaluru at the Bangalore International Exhibition Centre (BIEC). This marks the first time the bi-annual event is held in South India, showcasing over 225 exhibitors from India and around the world. The event, running from December 3–6, 2024, covers more than 40,000 square meters, presenting a wide variety of home products and innovations from top manufacturers, brands, and importers.
The trade show aims to strengthen the Indian home products market, particularly in the rapidly expanding southern region, where consumption is growing by more than 20% annually. The event also highlights the increasing collaboration between manufacturers, retailers, and e-commerce platforms to tap into this high-growth market.

Srikanth highlighted Amazon’s commitment to the home category, a fast-growing market for the platform. Mr. Umesh Gupta showcased the brand’s specialized cookware range for South Indian cuisine, emphasizing regional preferences.
The event also underlines HGH India’s commitment to fostering sustainable growth in the home products sector. With over 500 new companies entering the business each year and 3,000 to 4,000 new retailers joining the market annually, HGH India continues to be a key platform for industry growth, bringing together stakeholders from across the globe to collaborate, innovate, and expand.
