On the auspicious occasion of Makar Sankranti, Helping Hand Nalanda organized a community celebration with children and senior citizens living in slum areas. The initiative included the distribution of traditional dahi-chura, tilkut, and seasonal food, where everyone sat together and shared the meal in an atmosphere of love, unity, and mutual respect.
The smiles on the faces of children and the satisfaction seen in the eyes of the elderly made the celebration emotional and truly memorable. The event beautifully reflected the spirit of the festival by spreading happiness among the underprivileged sections of society.

Promoting Inclusion and Festive Togetherness
The volunteers of Helping Hand Nalanda managed the entire event with dedication and discipline, ensuring that the program was conducted peacefully and smoothly. The primary objective of the initiative was to make marginalized communities feel valued and included, reinforcing that they too deserve an equal share in the joy of festivals.
